In State v. Fontanez, the Court determined a conflict exists with cases from the Second and Fifth District Courts of Appeal and ordered the parties to submit briefs.


In State v. Clinkscale, the Court granted the request of the Ohio Attorney General’s Office to participate in oral arguments and share time with the appellant Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office.


In State v. Rodriguez, the appellant Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office request for a stay and expedited the ruling failed for a lack of a fourth vote.

In State v. Rodriguez, the Court ordered appellee Amy Rodriguez to file a response, if any, by 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, to appellant Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office request for a stay of the First District Court of Appeals judgment.


In Disciplinary Counsel v. Haven, the Court found Rodney E. Haven of Wooster in contempt for failure to file an affidavit of compliance.
